Staffing
Our approach to staffing is centred on creating a working environment where staff feel safe, supported, and valued. We recognise that our team plays a vital role in providing the care, stability, and support that our clients need.
Our recruitment process is thorough and carefully managed. Each applicant completes a series of interviews and background checks to assess their suitability for the role. All staff, including auxiliary staff, must have an enhanced DBS check in place before starting work, and at least two references are obtained for every applicant.
Our team members are qualified and experienced, and we actively encourage ongoing professional development, including working towards NVQ Level 3 qualifications. Staff receive regular training and are supported through supervision by experienced and qualified managers.

We are committed to taking steps to prevent both direct and indirect discrimination on the grounds of sex, race, ethnic or national origin, colour, religion, disability, age, sexual orientation, marital status, social class, language, health status, and unrelated or spent criminal convictions. Jordan Xavier expects a positive commitment from all employees and clients in supporting and upholding this policy.
In order to meet the above aims Jordan Xavier will:
- Examine and review the recruitment and employment process through the monitoring form completed by employees to ensure that equal opportunities are being implemented.
- Examine and review policies, procedures, practices and structure in line with the equal opportunities policy.

- Promote a greater understanding and awareness promoting anti-discrimination practice at all levels through training.
- Identify and remove discriminatory practices where found.
- Respond promptly to any complaint of discrimination and investigate this thoroughly.
- Employ contractors/agencies that have a commitment to Equal Opportunities.
